These Burritos are my boyfriend’s death row meal. This is his favorite meal that I make and I make this dinner more often than any other meal. It’s rare that I repeat a meal more than once a month. The best part about this meal is that it is so quick and easy to prepare and the ingredients are cheap. Aside from the tortillas (feel free to swap out for whole wheat), light sour cream and some cheese, these guys are made with mostly good-for-you ingredients but taste like a total cheat.
I really love my kitchen as far as the aesthetic but when it comes to space, it’s lacking. I have minimal cupboard space, drawer space, and counter space. It has awkward angles and really high cupboards. I love the space and light that frees up on my counter but it means I need a step stool for anything beyond the second shelf even though I am 5’9″…
Today I’m going to share with you the top 12 best small kitchen solutions I could find on Pinterest. The best part? These are all EASY small kitchen hacks! Cheap Kitchen DIYs that will help you save space, be more organized which will save you time on busy mornings and won’t make your wallet sad.
Instant Gratification — we all want it. One of the areas that this is most sought after for a lot of people is weight loss. We all want to be slim and I think many of us know how to make it happen, for the most part. We all know we should eat right, exercise, and chug water. I think I may have found a way around that. Let me be clear on two points here. First off, I am not endorsing any pill, wrap, potion or product of any sort. Secondly, I am certainly not saying you can eat whatever/however much you want and you will get thin. What I am saying is that by changing one thing in how you eat will allow you to lose weight without exercise and without having to give up the foods you love.
If this sounds too good to be true, then you’re in the same skeptical mindset as I was when I first heard about Intermittent Fasting. I’m going not going to focus on all the scientific research in this post, I’m simply going to speak from my experience and explain it on a surface level, in laments terms, as I understand it. I have zero nutritional or dietary education. I am simply a girl who wants to lose some weight but loves pizza and hates to work out. I’m going to tell you about the easy way I finally started to lose weight fast, without compromising my favorite foods or spending hours on the tread mill.
Every night I go to bed with the best of intentions to wake up early enough get myself nicely put together with nicely styled hair, in a nicely put together outfit, with carefully applied makeup… After having a lovely breakfast and reading the morning paper, of course. Ask me how often that actually happens. Actually, please don’t. I’d really prefer not to say… As I fall asleep I think to myself “Oh jeez. Amanda, we are not doing that to ourselves again tomorrow!” and I end up finally get out of bed after pressing snooze six times too many times annoyed at myself. The bad news is that I’m not sure I’ll ever change my ways. The good news is that I’ve got the whole “Hmm, I should have been out of bed 40 minutes ago” thing managed. Keep reading for my hacks (perfected after too many rushed mornings) for managing to get out of the house LOOKING like you have it all together. Even if, like me, you kinda really don’t.
As much as I wish I were a world traveler, I’m just not… Yet! Maybe one day. Unfortunately my finances don’t allow me to go wherever, whenever but I can do Vegas on the cheap! I’ve been 4 times and have paid between $350-$420 (USD) for flight and hotel (incl. tax) every time. I thought this was pretty standard because it’s the pricing I’d always been able to work to get but after chatting with people about it, I realized that what I was doing was actually giving me quite the deal and I had secrets to share!
Before I lose you to skepticism and before we get into all the nitty gritty I want to make 3 things very clear:
Each time I stayed in the very nice, big name hotels right on the strip.
I had convenient (favorably timed), direct flights every time.
Halloween isn’t my favorite Holiday because I’m not a fan being scared or ugly, creepy things. When I decorate for Halloween it’s with cute pumpkins, ghosts, glitter skulls and witches hats. I’m not a spider web/blood/skeleton kind of girl. But with that said, I still love to live seasonally, I just tweak it to suit my taste. So I like to make Halloween cute, not spooky. What’s cuter (or more delicious) than a witch’s hat cupcake made with an ice cream cone? Nothing! Except maybe a cupcake topped with a marshmallow ghost! Keep reading for more adorable Halloween cupcakes that are equally appropriate for your little monster’s Halloween party at school and your annual adults-only Halloween party. Both young and old will be thoroughly impressed with these Halloween cupcakes that look like they took a lot of effort but really are quite simple to make.
