Well… Here we are. One month away from summer and I could could personally stand to lose a little weight. Salads are a great way to do that, DUHH!
I mean, we all know that salads are great when you’re trying to lose weight but I think that salads are usually SO BORING! I’m here to tell you that they do not have to be. At all!
Even if you’re not trying to lose weight, salads are the best summer dinner. Tell me if you can relate to this. You’re starving, it’s 5:30pm, you need to make something for dinner but your home is so unbelievably hot that turning the oven on is the LAST thing you want to do! I know you’ve been there.
Making fun salads is the best way to keep me motivated when trying to lose weight. I need variety and salads are a healthy way to do that. I LOVE fruit so you will notice a lot of fruit in these salads here. It also helps to curb my ‘need’ for a sweet treat after dinner. Or lunch. Or always. I love sweets… But that’s neither here nor there.
One last thing before we get into it. I’m here to lose weight. Not to starve myself. So I guarantee you that these salads will make for satisfying meals that will leave you full. Having one of these salads will leave your belly and mind happy. It’s like you won’t even realize that these are helping you to lose weight because they’re THAT GOOD!
