If I bought every beautiful fall decor piece I fell in love with, I would be a poor, poor, woman. My dogs would have to get modelling jobs (they could do it, they’re really cute), we’d need to sell our condo and probably my KitchenAid. I refuse to sell my KitchenAid! So instead, I took to Pinterest and rounded up the best DIY fall decor ideas I could find and am sharing them with you here today. To me, the “best” DIY decor means something that looks like something that could be sold for real money, was really simple to make and with easy to come across and inexpensive materials. I can appreciate the amateur DIY look but it’s not for me. I want my DIY projects to look like I paid $30 for them at Homegoods so everything I have below will reflect that.

Fall Leaves Potted Topiary Trees
These look so expensive! But when you look at the breakdown of the cost of materials, it’s really not at all.

Be Thankful Wood Sign
My only hesitation with this project is the neat handwriting required. Though, I think that with a bit of patience and having a go with pencil first, even I could pull this off.

Give Thanks Mantel
This whole mantel is beautiful. When you dissect the individual aspects that all together make it look wonderful, you will find that the elements are quite simple. I look forward to copying this look.

With all the orange and brown in most fall decor, this break of deep red and green is beautifully refreshing. I can see this on the dinner table surrounded by my family enjoying a delicious meal.

Make Your Home Smell Like Fall
Though not decor, this DIY will sure help to make your home festive. In fact I would say the power of smell has more of an impact than decor.
